Alexandre Reily Rocha

Graduated from Universidade Estadual de Campinas (UNICAMP) in 2001 with a Bachalaureate in Physics Degree. Received his Masters (M.Sc.) in 2002 from the same university. He then went on to persue his Ph.D. at Trinity College Dublin, in the Republic of Ireland (2007). In 2008 he was a post-doctoral fellow at the Institute of Physics of the University of Sao Paulo, Brazil, and Trinity College Dublin. From 2009 until 2012 was a Professor at Universidade Federal do ABC, Santo Andre, Brazil. During that time acted as deputy coordinator of the Graduate programme in Nanoscience and Advance Materials, and as Dean of Research.
Since 2012 has relocated to the Institute of Theoretical Physics of Universidade Estadual Paulista (UNESP), in Sao Paulo, Brazil.
